Leonard Carder and Edward Wynne are teamed-up as court-appointed class counsel to represent Wells Fargo’s loan officers in California. Wells Fargo encourages the loan officers to participate in certain marketing activities, such as mass e-mail blasts to contact lists and personalized web pages on Wells Fargo’s web site, but then charges the loan officers for such items. The case seeks to recoup those charges for the class of current and former loan officers, plus interest, attorneys’ fees and costs, and penalties. Additionally, the loan officers bring claims for Wells Fargo’s delay in paying commissions once the loans have funded. The case is filed in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
